Friends and Lovers is a project of passion, friendship, and love. Our mission is to provide a safe space for all kinds of people to let loose, be themselves, dance, make friends, fall in love, and party their hearts out, and a stage for creatives of all types to push envelopes and pull heart strings.

  • We’re typically open Tue-Thu from 7pm to 2am (ish), and Fri-Sat 7pm to 4am. Most nights we have live performances (mostly comedy but some music) from 8pm and DJs from 10pm. Check our upcoming schedule for details.

  • Everyone who is 21+ is welcome, but we’re not for everybody. We ask our patrons to be kind and patient with our staff and your fellow partygoers. We have a zero tolerance policy for homophobia, transphobia, racism, xenophobia, and hate speech of any kind. Consent is a must. Always ask before you touch anyone.

  • FnL is still keeping it fresh and fun after a decade because we’re willing to get a little weird, and we ask our DJs to do the same. You can expect the music at our dance parties to venture off the beaten path.

  • We love birthdays and celebrations, but we don’t do bottle service or have reserved seating.

  • If you’re trying to come with a large group (especially on the weekends) get here early - as close to 10pm as possible. Due to the nature of our space, we do not host semi-private events, but if you’d like to have a private event please send a form here.

  • If you’d like to perform at Friends & Lovers, please send a submission to MUSIC@FNLBK.COM with a description of who you are and what you do. Send links to your performances, DJ mixes, music, and past events. Due to the extremely high volume of submissions, we do not respond to everyone.

  • Think you left something at the bar? Please feel free to shoot us a DM on Instagram and we’ll look at the bar for you.
