Levi Pugh at Friends & Lovers
It would be an understatement to say that Levi Pugh’s career is off to an auspicious start. Only a handful of independent artists embody the creativity, virtuosity, and ambition that are beginning to define the 25-year-old Brooklyn-based phenom. Since December 2024, Pugh has quietly released 16 self-produced songs across two projects, EP body knowledge and LP LUNA, garnering breathless attention from indie rock darlings and incendiary jazz improvisers alike. For the last three years, the pianist and composer has breezed their way into prestigious clubs, conservatory auditoriums, film festivals and churches across New York City while honing their skills as a songwriter and producer. Now, the multi-hyphenate artist is ready to bring their vision and undeniable gifts to the Friends & Lovers stage alongside a power trio of Philippe Clement on guitar, Adam Wooten on drums, and Stefan Haerle on bass.
