Noah Galbreath is a New York City–based saxophonist, singer, and composer with experience across a wide range of styles including jazz, rock, pop, Latin/salsa, and big band. Originally from Southern Virginia, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Jazz Studies from James Madison University in 2021, studying jazz performance and composition as well as voice. He plans to attend grad school for saxophone performance in the NYC metro area this coming school year. Active in the Virginia jazz scene before relocating to NYC, Noah has led The Noah Galbreath Quartet, performs regularly as a sideman, and is the composer and bandleader of the 8-piece genre-fluid group Part-Time Samurai, with performances at venues such as Brooklyn Bowl, Nublu, Shapeshifter Lab, Mercury Lounge, and Rockaway Music Fest.
